What A Cartoon!
EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS: LARRY HUBER, BUZZ POTAMKIN, FRED SEIBERT
The 1995 drop of What a Cartoon! was nothing less than the revival of the cartoon short as the lifeblood of animation. More than two dozen creators were selected from over 5000 pitches to make 48 classic length short cartoons, a ‘back-to-the-future’ approach that hadn’t been mainstream since the 1950s. Six hit series –Dexter’s Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo, I Am Weasel, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Powerpuff Girls– proved that first time creators could become the creative heroes that would set the pace for the industry for several decades.
